my biggest issue at the minute is trying to get a new home via social housing.
Currently our rent is crippling us and not only that I can not use most of the facilities and I’m having to sleep downstairs on the sofa and have no wc access down here so now had to find another option also my daughter who is 4 has no fear of anything so several times she has tried to climb out of her bedroom window or jump down the stairs, she has escaped out of the house previously onto the road. (Thank god it was 05.40 and no one around) she recently did the same and managed to escape from the caravan we had. She’s a little rascal.
Wrist supports that link to parents don’t help. She has a hobba do hop harness which is a lifesaver if she decides to walk and then throws herself down as it has like bag handles on front and back so you can stop them running or throwing themselves down.
Today she’s tried to go down the stairs via sliding down the banister. Gotten in to the back cupboard where I keep all cleaning products)The house we are renting is private rental but landlord isn’t happy for adaptions to be done as he says it will cost him more to rectify when we do leave

I'm assuming you've got your name down on the social housing list? Have you also referred yourself for a needs assessment from your local Authority? You can do that here.
Speaking from my own personal experience this is what I did when I lived in privately rented. Adaptions were recommended for the bathroom and the stairs because I could no longer get up or down them safely. Or use the bath and shower.
My landlord at the time refused the adaptions so my Occupational Therapist wrote a fantastic report and sent it to social housing. From there I was given medical priority for adapted properties and it only took 4 months of bidding on properties to be offered a 2 bedroom house. They installed a stairlift shortly after I moved in and the bathroom is a wet room.
I'm not saying it will be that quick because in a lot of areas they have long waiting lists but you never know.

@poppy123456 hiya, like yourself we are on the list but been over 2 years now.
I had a needs assessment but I was told they don’t come out and reassess.
Have tried to get occupational therapy involved but apparently they don’t get involved too you go to view the property and then they have their in put etc which I think is ridiculous.
I’m pretty sure it was the needs assessment team who suggested the current adaptions I do have currently like the drop step, perching stool , bath chair which I can’t use etc x0
