Anti social criminal neighbour
Does anyone know what to do regarding a criminal anti social neighbour who is continually upsetting, loud, and unapproachable. I’ve had anti social behaviour from him over the last year and a half, the housing department don’t seem terribly interested, and he’s now starting to slander other neighbours.

Good morning @Tia19. I'm sorry to read you're experiencing issues with your neighbour.
There is some useful information on the Government website with details on how to report antisocial behaviour which might be of help to you.
Have you been keeping a record of the things that have been happening?

Yes, I have been keeping a record of things, but the housing association don’t seem interested in my safety nor health as I’ve had the anti social behaviour from this neighbour for a year and a half now. He also attempted to murder someone in the communal back garden area in April of this year, and I actually heard a bit if it, and witnessed a bit of it, and had to give a statement to police the next day. He was subsequently jailed then allowed out on bail. And not only am I petrified of his violent tendencies, etc, and incessant anti social behaviour and noise pollution, but I can’t quite believe the upheaval, distress and danger he still poses. The amount of finance being spent to contain him, from all departments, and then the additional ones due to affecting my health very seriously, seems unacceptably high. It might have been a lot more inexpensive and safe for everyone if he’d been locked up and held in custody given the seriousness of the crime he so clearly committed. Thank you!
