I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place or not as there's nowhere to talk about it
Hi everyone,
I had a sleep study last December (I think it was the 13th) and I have been trying to chase it up. My doctors had no information on it (I was referred by a nurse practitioner) and I couldn't get through to the cardio respiratory clinic at the hospital cause every time I rang the line just rang and rang and i ended up giving up chasing it.
Then sometime eitherast week or the before I think it was I got a letter in the post from the cardio respiratory clinic at the other hospital (my local hospital and another hospital have merged as they are two NHSFT teaching hospitals) for the 30th of September. It's taken them 8 months to get back to me due to the backlog of appointments and checks they had to do. Fortunately, there is a hospital shuttle bus that runs between the 2 hospitals, so I'm going to have to figure out which shuttle bus I need to get to make sure that I'm on time for my appointment and also so hope that my appointment doesn't run over the time for the return shuttle bus back.
I was sent the appointment by email at first, but there was an option for me to have it posted to me, which I did as I prefer to have a physical copy of the letter in case the shuttle bus driver wants to proof that I have got an appointment as they've had to start asking people for proof of if they have an appointment at either hospital or if they work at them as they've had people using the hospital shuttle bus as a free bus to and from my local hospital and the other town.

Hi @BrianMcFaddenfan24 I am glad you now have your appointment, it must be a relief for you. I hope your appointment goes well and you are able to sort the shuttle bus out.

That's a shame that they've had to start checking appointment letters on the bus, I hope it all goes well for you though 🙂
