Hey sorry for probably asking a silly question my landlord has increased my rent by £200 till the maximum I'm allowed through lha rate. Will the housing element pay that cause of a high increase even though I'm eitled to that amount?

Yes, you will receive what you're entitled to. They will ask for proof of the rent increase. Edit to add, there's no such thing as a silly question, if you don't know the answer.

I messaged them same thing. They said from 23rd September they will the increase to my landlord. Then I asked does that mean landlord being paid increase on 23rd September. They said the rent period will be period 17 august to 16th september

If you're privately renting then your housing element entitlement will be based on the local housing allowance for your circumstances and area you live. You can check the rates here.
You will need to make sure you also drop the box down to how many bedrooms you're entitled to.. such as shared, 1 or 2 bedrooms etc.
It will give you the weekly rate so you'll need to convert it to the monthly rate… for example.. weekly rate £75 x 52 and divide by 12. If it's more than your rent liability then your whole rent will be covered and you can't receive more than your rent liability.
