What if ESA to UC migration letter gets lost in post
I'm concerned that the migration invitation letter might get lost in the mail. I've had issues with postal delivery before, and my address is often confused with another one. This is making me anxious about possibly missing the three-month deadline. Does the letter come with an SMS notification beforehand, or is there at least an SMS reminder sent after a month or so?

Hi @spb1612. I understand your concern. Maybe you could contact them to let them know that there are issues with your post and ask if they will send an SMS reminder? Here are the details:
Jobcentre Plus
Telephone: 0800 169 0310
Textphone: 0800 169 0314
Relay UK (if you cannot hear or speak on the phone): 18001 then 0800 169 0310
British Sign Language (BSL) video relay service if you’re on a computer - find out how to use the service on mobile or tablet
Welsh language: 0800 328 1744
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm0 -
I believe they send reminders if you haven’t claimed by a certain date.

Thank you fo r your reply, I will phone them and follow it up with a letter.
I worry because I may lose my legacy benefits if I miss the 3-month deadline.
