Hi, my name is Terence!
Hello
I have worked for the same employer for over 23 years and up until now had understanding work coaches at Universal Credit who have stated on my commitments that I do not need to look for work or attend job interviews as I am already employed.
My latest work coach doesn’t have the same people skills as her colleagues and thinks that I should be spending 35 hours a week looking for work even though I already have a job and am less than 2 years from my Government Retirement age.
My boss totally agrees with me and like myself doesn’t think that I’m being treated fairly by this person and we both think that I should ask for her to be replaced by someone more hospitable.

Hi @TerenceSS and welcome to the community.
Sorry to hear your work coach doesn't have the same level of humanity than your last one, I understand how frustrating that can be! Are you working full time for your current employer? If you're already in work, I don't think the DWP should be asking you to look for more.
Just to let you know, I've had to alter your username, as using your full name isn't great for security. If you'd prefer a new username, please just shout and I'll get it changed for you. 😊0 -
