The best thing to do is use google to search what's available in your area. You won't need a disabled move because many removal companies offer a packing service too, as well as contents removals that will do everything. Of course you will have to pay the extra for them to do this.

When I moved house in January, I did pack everything myself, with the help of my daughter but we had a company to come and do everything else. On the day of moving, we just sat and waited for them to remove the furniture, pack the vans. When we arrived at the new house they unloaded, took everything in and placed everything where I wanted it. It was fantastic and the easiest house move I've ever experienced.

Without a doubt, a good home move service takes 99% of the stress away. They are very used to helping people who struggle because of disabilities.

Welcome to the community @sonial 😊 I'm sorry to hear about your stroke. It sounds like a bungalow will be an improvement than what you live in now?

As Poppy says, it is often best to search for what is available in your local area. You can often get quotes to compare prices before deciding on a mover. Many do offer packing and unpacking services, but as said these will cost a bit extra. It's often best to plan the move and then contact the movers and detail the plan. That way you're all on the same page come moving day which should help it all go smoothly.

I'm just going to move this discussion over to our Housing category.
