Hi Everyone,

After a severely prolonged battle over 4 years and 4 months, I finally had my Home Medical today to determine my percentage of Disability.

I am new to this site and if anyone experiences denied claims for IIDB, I urge them to never give up.

I was declined, declined again and lied to after my Appeal was Allowed.

I had to complain to the Communities Minister within Stormont regarding the nonchalant behaviour of the IIDB Staff on allocating my Medical.

Strangely after complaining, I recieved an email of apology the next day and two days later a telephone call to confirm a Home Medical.

Can someone confirm if my Award shall be backdated to 13/04/20 which is when the Tribunal confirmed my Accident was an Industrial Accident.
