DLA MR
I'm posting on behalf of a friend she put an MR in by phone and sent further evidence to support her child as he was awarded high rate care but low rate mobility but his special school are saying he should be on high rate mobility.
My friend was told by dla it will be 15 weeks to be looked at she heard nothing come 15 weeks so called them and was told it would take another 3 weeks and to call back after then.
3 weeks later and still heard nothing so she called this morning to be told there had been a computer problem and it will now take another 7 to 8 weeks so that will be roughly 26 weeks, does anyone know if this is the norm? Thank you.

Timescales are only ever a guide. Unfortunately there’s nothing they can do until that decision is made.
