Hi all,I'm new here,myself and my husband are in the process of migrating over to UC,from income support,I'm a bit confused,as I know we get 2 more weeks benefit after we apply for UC,I've received1 payment of income support,and 2 weeks carers,and then today I woke up to find I've been paid another 2 weeks income support,was I supposed to tell them I was migrating over,I'm so confused,any advice would be greatly appreciated TIA

Have you actually submitted your claim for UC? You don't need to tell them you're migrating across because they will receive information that you've submitted a claim for UC.

If you have submitted the claim then you will need to ring Income Support to ask why you received another payment.

Yes we have submitted the claim for UC,it's still being processed,we have just had our id's verified this week.
