Hi, my name is Beepee3! Not backpaid daily living yet due to new law. Why would this be?
Hey guys, so my pip review was finally completed on Monday.
I used to get £72 a week on the standard daily living part.
After my review they have put me on the enhanced daily living part £108 AND the standard mobility (£28)
I spoke to someone on Monday that said they’ve issued a back payment of £1600 which has been backdated from July last year which wasn’t the right amount of backdate for them both.
I called up today and they’ve said that they’ve only back dated the mobility and not the daily living yet as they’re investigating my claim to see if I should have been awarded extra points from 2016 for daily living due to a new law?
Anyone know why this would be? And when il get the amount back dated for the daily living? I was too anxious to ask why.
Thank you in advance xx

Heya @Beepee3 and a warm welcome to the community.
That's great news about your award, congratulations! The part about daily living isn't anything to worry about, it may actually be a very good thing. They'd changed how one part of daily living was marked, so people who get the extra points will be owed even more back pay. Fingers crossed for you!0
