My first PIP review form sent

Thanks to everyone who got me through the last 2 weeks. I couldn't bear looking at their questions and my answers any longer. I wanted to have some headspace to help my son write and edit his personal statement for his UCAS form. I already realise that I should have been more specific with my answers for PIP but on my original application they just ignored what I said in the form anyway and only awarded points on very specific parts of the medical evidence. I'm going to be wreck for however long it takes them to get back in touch about it now. I'm still livid about the heath assessors report, I really don't know how they can sleep at night.

Glad you were able to get it sent off @wonkydaze. The waiting can be the worst part sometimes, but I hope you're able to focus on something else for a little while and put it to the back of your mind. Fingers crossed for a positive result and we'll be here if you need extra distractions!

How's your son getting on with his personal statement so far? What's he hoping to study?

Thank you, he wants to study maths. From all the supposed need for maths graduates it's incredibly competitive to get on to a degree. He's just been diagnosed with dyslexia, so he's doing really well.

Do you know if the DWP will get in touch if they plan to ring to talk to about the review or will they just call out of the blue?
