Hi, my name is Dordymychavvy12!
Why is it so difficult for disabled people to be heard 😢 it seems like you are talking but nobody can hear or see you? I'm so depressed about my situation now, I have mobility issues and have to use a mobility scooter just to go out. But having to go to a town is a complete nightmare, as I would have to go on a bus with my scooter and every time I get on I can't seem to get it in the position it's meant to be and I have a panic attack and people look at me like I shouldn't be on there and the huffs and puffs along with tutting it just makes me feel worse especially when the driver just stands there and watch me.

Hi @Dordymychavvy12 and welcome to the community. I'm sorry you're struggling right now. It's definitely difficult for disabled to truly be heard as many people don't understand our difficulties and would rather avoid engaging with us. There are many people who understand your situation though, especially in the online community 😊 You can chat to other people here who can relate to your situation. We're here to support you.
Do you have any mental health support?

Hi Rachel, thankyou for your kind response. I've been struggling for some time now, health issues and I also suffer with anxiety and depression and my anxiety has been pushed to the maximum level for nearly 5 years now and it doesn't seem to hold up for a single minute. It's like having a door slammed in your face every day and now I'm sick of it all. How are you doing today?

Hi @Dordymychavvy12 😊 I'm good thanks. Enjoying the bit of sunshine coming through the windows.
I struggle with anxiety and depression so I can relate to you there. I find it quite tiring with all the overthinking, are you the same? Do you have any support around you to help?

Hi Rachel, yes I do overthink alot and I hate nighttime it's even worse. Though I feel tired but as soon as I'm in bed my eyes just don't want to shut. I'm also a type 2 diabetic and have an overactive bladder so I'm having to keep getting up to go to the toilet, I watch daylight coming up. I've had counselling many times and I'm not really any different from one session to another. Do you have any support? Where I live it's quite a distance to the town so unless I go out which I find difficult at times I don't hardly see many people apart from the odd hello from a couple of neighbours, it's quite isolated for me and most of the time I sit outside with either my daughter or my husband. It doesn't help with the school not resolving an issue with some boys at the school with my daughter and what they were saying, this has been going on since Oct last year and they have not done anything about it. So I pulled her out of school in April.
