It's Friday 13th! What are you superstitious about?

I've just noticed that it's Friday the 13th today! I hope you're all being extra careful to avoid ladders and black cats and aren't putting any new shoes on the table.

I was a spooky teenager into tarot and all kinds of superstitious things, so I would have been very excited by Friday 13th back then. But the superstitious stuff has melted away as I've grown older and more cynical, so I can't say I partake in any superstitions any more! Very boring of me 😁

How about you? Do you think there's such thing as bringing about bad luck? Are there any superstitions that you or people you know take part in?

ah my aim in life is to gain brownie points with dawnie i fail to the point i lose twice as many as i gain every day she is spooky every day is the 13th in our house 🤣🤣

Dont crops 3 man holes in a row supposed be bad luck & also the magpie superstitions I always see magpies every week, also robins paying people visits meant to be the spirits of family and friends. My friend died two years ago and his dad had a robin visit him every morning not long after it happened.

I wont step on three manhole covers, only two.
Weirdly, I've come up with a new superstition that I cant seem to shake. It's very silly indeed.
If I open a new box of medication and the booklet inside is showing, it'll be a bad month, if it's not showing, it'll be a good month. Oddly it's been true so far. 😆

I do love the idea of robin being our loved ones visiting us @jamesG93 we had a robin visit after we lost our father, it gave me someone to chat to.

@Albus_Scope I feel you on that one I was in foster care found my brother's that I never new who told me my dad was gone 7 years ago and my brother aswell, knever new them really but it still sucks not having it.
