Adult Disability Backdated
Hi was on standard daily living for ADP, after doing a change of circumstances for on 6/5/24 I received letter on 27/8/24 that I had been awarded the enhanced daily living part. Received new payment today but no back dated money. Does anyone know how long backdated money takes as can’t find anything online. Thanks

Does the letter say that you're owed a back payment?
With PIP, most back payments were paid before the letters arrived. I can't say whether ADP uses a different computer system though. If possible, it would be best to call them to ask if you are owed any back payment and roughly when that should arrive.

@mo90 Congrats on getting the enhanced daily part! Backpay often takes a few weeks longer than updating the regular payments. So it should not be far off. You could try calling the ADP line to see if they have anymore information but it is normal on both PIP and ADP for backpay to come about 2-3 weeks after the regular payments have been updated.
