Had some rather exciting news today, I’ve won this years Happy Garden award from my local council!(It’s basically a best in show thing) so absolutely over the moon with this news!

It also comes with a £500 prize which will be spent on things for my garden(lots of new plants incoming hehe)

Was really surprised as I only started gardening 2 years ago when we moved into the Bungalow until then I’d had no experience but lots of reading and trial and error has paid off ☺️

Lots and lots of reading

I bought a Soil Tester which helps a ton as you can create the perfect growing conditions for each plant, it has given me a lot of motivation to win next year also ☺️

Oh good stuff! I was looking at getting a soil testing kit, I was always testing my aquariums every other day to make sure the tanks were ideal for the plants/corals, but I've yet to do it for the actual garden. 😆

It’s really useful, I went with one of the digital ones which cost a bit more upfront but works out cheaper over time.

They are great to get the perfect parameters for each plant which of course promotes growth and blooms
