ada i used to be a farmer now i have to work out how to do things easy but taking 3 times as long does not detract from the satisfaction of doing it just the neighbours dobbing me in when dawnies not around bless herAda said:I love my only being able to do my growing pots. It’s the last hobby I can only just manage pain to do.
But I am overwhelmed by all you lovely peoples post. So I think I will be sticking to just reading x2 -
@ada have you thought about raised flower beds? It'd save the pain of getting down to the dirt and you can still have lots of pretty things around.

Lots of forget-me-nots at the end of my garden. They come up every year. I try to keep this bit more wild for the birds and the beasties

just a random thought how many of you with gardens grow and cut flowers to display in the house1
-
I do the growing, sis does the cutting to put around the house. I think I've got the harder part of this deal.

Oh totally, I much prefer seeing them outside too. But sometimes a few spares around the house can really brighten a room up.

I've enjoyed looking at everyone's pictures. We have a veg patch with several raised beds that my husband made and a very large garden that quickly gets out of control! I'm late getting started this year, so just have garlic growing, asparagus that I'm harvesting now and the remaining carrots and parsnips from last year. I have many seeds to plant! Aiming to get my potatoes in this week too.2

i think dawnie might have something to say if i tried bringing in the acer and some sunflowers hahaAlbus_Scope said:Oh totally, I much prefer seeing them outside too. But sometimes a few spares around the house can really brighten a room up.
