Got my work capability assessment appointment letter today

I had a nice surprise when I opened my letter as they're going to phone me instead of me having a face to face appointment.

My previous WCA was face to face and my fiancé was with me, but this time it's over the phone and it's an afternoon appointment.

Yes most assessments are by telephone and have been this way since Covid. For future reference, if you were given a face to face assessment it can be changed to telephone.

Good luck with the assessment and please remember to try not to answer the questions with just a yes or no. Please give as much relevant information as possible.

Best of luck with the assessment @BrianMcFaddenFan82. As Poppy says try to give detailed answers! Do you have anyone who could be with you during the phone call to help answer the questions, or just to support you?

Ty @poppy123456 and @Jimm_Scope for the advice. I'm going to ask my fiancé to sit with me just to help me to keep calm so that my asthma doesn't decide to appear.

Ive just remembered that my fiancé has an appointment on the same day as my telephone appointment for my WCA, so I might ask my mum to sit with me instead.

I hope she's able to @BrianMcFaddenfan24. Best of luck with it. 🙂
