Claim review and playing bingo

hi all new to the group. Just after some advice please.
Had a message on uc journal about claim review to upload passport and 4 month bank statements, which I have done (although they have given me 2 weeks to do this) I claim uc, child benefit, dla for my daughter.. are these benefits included in your capital for the 6k mark? Also how does the 6k capital work is every monthly period or for the whole year? I also work part time (this is obviously income they are aware about) 😩 I’m slightly worried as I play bingo most evenings, it’s not a gambling site it’s a personal account in the woman’s name. My manager from work does her own private online bingo there’s over 100 of us on the group and she does live games. I probably put in more then I win to be honest and if I do win I think it’s just my money back not actually a gain, the amounts that go into my account from her no more then £100 if I do get luckily enough and win(or get my loss back) I’m just worried UC will not like this ? Does anyone have any experience in this?
Also in regards to bank accounts balance just worrying about it, I transfer money between my accounts so I can pay for things and bills, as where I get paid it’s just a savings account (no actually savings) so it will say from “my name transfered to my name” I have sent uc all the accounts I hold so they can see I transfer money between my accounts to pay for things etc.
say if it showed £4k and my benefits and wages and child maintenance totalled £3k would this mean that I’m left with £1k left that could count towards capital for that month (if i didn’t spend it)
thank you for your help and reading 😊

I should add there’s also transactions here and there if my mum or my friend has asked me to go to the shop for them. Most are £10 here and there some are £2 🙈

just confused by the 6k limit. So as long as i don’t have 6k savings in any monthly period it’s all good? I’ll be lucky to get that in a year to be honest 🙈

thank you. I don’t have any money in my account before my next uc payment each month might be a tenner if I’m lucky.

Unfortunately, when claiming means tested benefits they have the right to request bank statements for reviews of a claim.
All the benefits you claim and your earnings, including child maintenance are treated as capital if not spent at the end of the next UC assessment period after you received the payments.
If you've never gone over £6,000 at anytime then there's nothing to worry about. The money from family, is just that, small payments from family, which is not earnings, it's capital and treated as a gift.
Again any winnings from bingo is treated as capital.

okay great thank you. I’ve never had £6k savings. I had compensation last year of £3.5k which I declared to uc and had to show bank statements aswell. I’ve always been honest with them. That got spent though which I believe is okay as under the £6k mark. I usually spend my UC pretty much within a week of getting it on bills rent etc 🙈

Hi, I have got myself into a state regarding the UC review. It's a joint claim with my husband whom I care for. I've suffered from mental illness in the past and have developed a gambling addiction. Please try not to judge, however hard, it's really difficult for me. My statements have been sent for the review showing ins outs and gifts and gambling winnings, which were all pretty much spent as soon as I got them. I must add this is on my account and not the account UC is paid into. Jointly the amounts for the 4 months do not take us over the £6000 mark in an assessment period. However, there may be times in the past when it has and I'm so worried I'm going to get in trouble. I used to play a lot through Paypal but the money there got swallowed up too, mainly through my gambling. I feel such despair as all my statements for the past 2 years show money in(some large amounts) and then straight out again. I really do have a problem and I'm now trying to address it. Can anyone advise me please. I'm terrified
