Don't worry, it takes time to get used to it all! Here's a link for you 😊
You can start your own discussion too, just like you did with this one if there's something in particular you'd like to talk about. Enjoy!

Hi folks hope you are doing OK?I am getting extremely anxious about my daughters Child Disability Application?,8 weeks now it's been in a que for a decision?I hope I get one soon because all this waiting is making me extremely anxious xx

Timescales given are nothing more than a guide. Yes, it's stressful just waiting for the post to arrive and hopefully bring a letter with good news.
Please try to focus on something else while you wait, though I know that's difficult.

You can find the coffee lounge here. When commenting on any thread you do it in the same way as you've been commenting on your thread. Scroll to the bottom of that thread and type in the box where it says "leave a comment."

Many thanks for your reply?I am beginning to feel down beat about my daughters application because it's been in a que now for 9 weeks to go to a decision maker? What's your advice to try and calm myself down and hopefully a decision will be sent out soon?Any advice would be welcoming g?X

The wait is unfortunately quite long for a lot of benefits decisions just now @Rwbecca2020. When it comes to trying to stay calm, MIND have some techniques for a few things, I'll link them now.
I hope there is some information or technique there that can help keep you calm. For me personally I find breathing exercises helps ground me and my mind. Try to get my mind focusing entirely on my breathing stops the worry spiraling.
