Hi

we are based in Edinburgh. My daughter is in her 3rd year at uni and is struggling to find part time work. She’s a ful time wheelchair user. She’s had great feedback from the interviews she’s had but just can’t seem to get a break. Anyone have any advice?

Thanks

Hi @melk. Sorry your daughter is struggling to find part-time work. We have a service at Scope called Support to Work which could help. They'll work with your daughter to find a suitable job 😊

What kind of jobs is she looking at? Finding a job is difficult at the moment but hopefully she can find something soon.

    Hi Rachel

Thank you for your message. She’s studying mass communications which is anything marketing, PR, social media related. To be honest she would take anything just to get some experience and boost her CV. She’s volunteered in the past doing reception and admin work. She’s also happy to work from home if that’s what it takes.

Ooh that's an interesting degree. Has she tried all the usual job sites like Reed, Indeed etc? I quite like CharityJob which is where I found this job! It has a lot of remote positions and they're all for charities 😊 Might be worth a look.
