ESA

So having not having a assessment for over 10 years, ( I know right) have be on ESA for over 20 due to my disabilities, I now have a ESA50 and am really worried, is it because of these new companies taking over ? Or the new government trying to get disabled people into work, has anyone else ,just recently had a form/ assessment and how was it ? Had absolute nightmare, trying to get a an extension, to fill form in ,twice before on hold for 4 hours with out a answer , one a 2 hour wait for them the phone to be put down on me, absolutely disgraceful, I can get to see my doctor till the 30th of September, but had a letter saying I must return form my the 1st today, so posted, how do I send on a letter from my doctor, and know it going to get seen with my form ,I have absolutely no faith after the telephone fiasco ?

You are more than due a review after not having one for so long. You’ve just been very lucky to have gone so long without one. There were some people last year that hadn’t had one for 7+ years and were also contacted.
There’s no extension to return the form. It must be returned by the date in the letter. If you have a vulnerable maker on your file then they can proceed without the form.
Letters from a GP aren’t the best evidence to send really because they don’t know exactly how your conditions affect you. If they know it’s because you told them.
Some people ask people that how them well for a supporting letter. Giving a couple of real world examples for each descriptor that applies to you will also help. You can also write a diary, which some find helpful.
