LCWRA is part of Universal Credit. ESA is a completely different benefit. When did you start your claim for ESA?

I’m already receiving esa ,, in the support group which my friend says may entitle me to LCWRA @poppy123456

Being in the Support Group on ESA means if you were to claim and be eligible for UC, you would be placed in the LCWRA group.
Are you claiming any other benefits at the moment?

I’m not receiving anything else other than the support group esa

Yes, I gathered you were claiming ESA already due to what you said in your first comment. You didn't answer my question… when did your claim for ESA start?
The reason I ask this is because if your ESA is Income Related then a claim for UC would end the ESA.
If your claim started after end of December 2018 then it's likely to be New style ESA, which isn't means tested.
If you claim UC then your ESA will continue as normal but be deducted in full from any UC entitlement. However, UC is a means tested benefit so whether you qualify will depend on your circumstances.
If you live with a partner you'll need to claim as a couple. If you have capital of more than £16,000 you're excluded from claiming.

Hey @keats88, I hope this information helped you figure out the best outcome for yourself.
Can I ask, did the injury occur at work at all? Just curious as you should get help for that. You don't have to answer of course. It's just a thought that occured.

Oh damn, that's quite the drop! I'm glad it wasn't worse. I just wanted to check as sometimes people don't know they can sometimes be eligible for other support if it was work-related.
