How much will I get from LCWRA?

Hello. I have received my letter telling me I have been awarded WCA but it don’t say how much or when I will get paid. I work 15 hours a week. Left a note in my universal credit journal but no one has replied. Anyone know about this at all? Thanks.

More information is needed to be able to advise you. Please check the letter to see exactly what that decisions was.
1/ Was it Limited Capability for work? (LCW)
2/ or Limited Capability for Work Related Activity? (LCWRA)
You will only receive extra money each month if the decision was LCWRA. If it was this, what date exactly did you provide your first fit note? what date do you usually receive your money each month?

Hello yes it’s LCWLA. My first fit note was 25th June. My new fit note was 25th sep.
Thank you.

Thanks. Thank means your waiting period is as follows..
June/July, July/August, August/Sept.. LCWRA starts from Sept to October assessment period and first payment will be 5th November. No LCWRA element is owed.
As you are currently receiving earnings if you didn't previously have the work allowance then you'll be owed some money from that. This will apply from the assessment period in which you provided your first fit note. Any money owed will be paid as a separate payment.
To be clear, you would have only had the work allowance prior to the decision being made if you have children on your claim. If you don't then you wouldn't have been entitled to it and therefore they will owe you some money.

Hi @tess75, welcome to the Scope community 😊 I'm glad you were able to get answers to your questions! Please do ask if you have anymore. If you do, I moved this over to our Universal Credit section 🙂
