Will I be sanctioned if I resign?
Hi . I'm new here. I wanted advice.
I have been off sick from work for 7 months now. I receive universal credit with lcwra. Can I resign from my job as I am not going to get any better enough to go back and my boss is constantly wanting me to go In for meetings to discuss my ill health absence now shes wanting me to do online training. I just want to tell them I resign. Can I do this without getting sanctioned ?

As you have LCWRA you can resign without getting sanctioned, yes.

Hi @allisonanderson46, welcome to the Scope community 😊As you receive LCWRA you have no work obligations, so you should not be sanctioned for resigning at all as Emilee mentions.
Incase you have further questions I'll just move this over to our Universal Credit section.

Do I need to inform them I have done this when I do . ?

Yes, you should tell them if you're no longer employed. Any final earnings you receive will be treated as earnings and reduce your UC by 55p for earnings above the work allowance.
