Help Us Raise Awareness and Drive Change for Adults with CP on World Cerebral Palsy Day 2024
Adults with CP do not get joined-up healthcare provisions like other adults with lifelong conditions.
UP - The Adult Cerebral Palsy Movement have illustrated the lifelong condition of CP through a series of impactful images:20 people, including Drag Queen known as ‘Sugar Cube’, Wayne Allingham, Actor known best for ‘Sex Education’, Keron Day, and Valerie Lang OBE, have been featured in a lineup outside Parliament Square to demonstrate the lack of support available to those with CP throughout their adult lives.
UP and Scope are urging policymakers, healthcare providers and the wider community to recognise the long-term needs of people with CP and make them take meaningful action to address the gaps in care, resources and support.
Scope supports UP - The Adult Cerebral Palsy Movement in its mission to move CP up the political agenda. We’ve added our name in support of the CP Charter and you can do the same.
