Universal Credit migration whilst on Contributory ESA

Hi,
My wife has been on Contributory ESA for years, and we are just migrating to UC from Legacy Benefits. My wife was expecting her ESA Payment today but it hasn't arrived. Is there the same 5 week gap for ESA that there is for UC? My wife is firmly in the Support Group.

No there isn't a gap for ESA when migrating to UC, and it should carry on as normal in terms of payment schedule.
She would need to phone them and see why it wasn't sent.

Contributions based ESA isn't part of UC and should just continue, however, it will revert automatically to New style ESA and she'll receive a letter regarding that. Payments should continue but I'm unsure if the dates would change slightly.
The ESA will be deducted in full from any UC entitlement.
If any part of her ESA was Income Related then this should continue for 2 weeks and then stop.
She will need to ring ESA when they open this morning to ask why payment wasn't received.
