LWCRA
Hi ,I've recently been informed that I've been successful with my application for lcwra by a message posted on my journal on the 3rd October, I had my assessment face 2 face, 30th September, I know there's a 3 month waiting period before I receive my first payment but I'm confused about the date the 3 month waiting period starts, my first sick note was on the 3rd July 24 which covers me for a year from my gp. Hopefully this is enough information for you to tell me, when I might get my first lcwra payment, thank you .

It starts from when you provide your first fit note. What date do you usually receive your money each month?
Without knowing that your first payment will be either Nov or Dec.

Hi @Leannec1602, welcome to the community ๐ Congrats on getting the LCWRA, it isn't easy going through the assessment. Especially a face to face assessment.
As Poppy mentions it can depend what date in the month you are paid. You've already provided all the other information necessary, but it does depend on which period the fit note was given.
I'm just going to move this over to our UC category, feel free to ask any other questions about UC you have ๐
Also, if you do have questions about other benefits, or maybe there's some advice you're looking for about living with certain conditions or help with other parts of life do check out our categories list

Hello @Leannec1602, welcome to the community!
You're in really good hands with Poppy so I'm sure you'll get an answer to your question soon if you can let her know your payment dates, I just wanted to say hello and welcome anyway ๐
Hope you'll enjoy your time on the community!

Thank you @Poppy123456 pay date is 9th of each month, it's on this month's statement.

Based on the information you provided Iโm very surprised itโs included in this months statement. Your waiting period is July/Aug, Aug/Sept, Sept/Oct.. LCWRA starts from 3rd Oct to 2nd Nov and first payment shouldnโt be until 9th November.
Are you 100% sure that it was 3rd July you provided your first fit note? As you received it this month then that suggests you provided it before that date. Please have a look back on your journal.

Apologies @poppy123456 that will teach me to proof read my post, it's not on this months statement. But thank you for the information I now understand
