    As you say, you can't tell for sure what's working to reduce your pain a little. CBD can take a litte time to work, & hopefully it may have done for you. The 30mg patches could work better, but you might also be fine on just the 15mg patches.

    It's different for everyone, but I only need a low strength CBD oil to dampen down my pain, & that's all I've taken for 5 years. It's a matter of 'trial & error' I'm afraid.

    The only downside of using a higher strength patch (as with taking a higher strength CBD oil), is that it can make you feel that bit worse (tho it may not) if your body doesn't need it. If you try the 30mg ones, I'd have some 15mg ones still just in case you find you're better off on them after all.

    As always, please do check in with your doctor in regards to anything you are also taking for your health issues.

    OK I have been having some weird things happening to me - since I started on CBD patches

    To start with - I woke up hearing someone downstairs - the wife had to go down and investigate - there was nobody downstairs !

    Then last night - in bed - I was convinced that there was a rat in my bed - the wife had to remove the duvet to check - there was no rat in my bed

    Hallucinations - common with CBD ??

    Maybe you should mention it to your doctor @Wibbles it could well be interacting with any medication you take!!

    Hi @Wibbles - I'd be very surprised if the patches caused hallucinations as they don't contain any THC. It's possible that you're very sensitive to CBD. Probably best to stop using the patches for a while, & speak to your Dr if these symptoms persist. It won't be interacting with other meds as it's absorbed through the skin.

    CBD orally is actually being trialed to treat hallucinations/delusions in Parkinson's. See p24 here:

    @chiarieds

    I also believe that CBD is making my hearing much more sensitive.

    Last night - at about 2am - I heard a boiler start up and run for 30 minutes - "a quiet pop then a hum"

    Our boiler was not running - so it must have been next doors (We live in a largish 3 bed semi)

    It is causing me sleep problems as well

    I am stopping taking CBD for a fortnight to see what the effects are !
