Pip new claim

my son is 16, so we did the appointee, and pip claim.
We did a telephone assessment (well I did- my son isn’t able to do phone calls) on 18th August
had a call from DM today asking for GP details, I gave them to her but I’m 1000% certain I put them on but anyway, my son hasn’t seen a GP in around 10 years as he’s autistic there is no medication/intervention etc.
Anyway she said it’s with a case manager and I should hear very soon.
But I can’t help feeling this isn’t good, as surely asking for GP details is to request info but they don’t see him 😩

Hi @mumofmonkeys, sometimes they do ask the GP for any more information, but it's not always the kind of information that will make or break your claim if enough has been covered in the assessment. Hopefully it'll all still go through okay.
Is your son's Autism on his medical records at all? Perhaps the GP will at least be able to confirm his diagnosis should they get in contact.
Fingers crossed you get the result you're hoping for!
