If you have spent the money and your capital is now below £16,000 they will likely ask what you spent it on and may also ask to see receipts.

Thanks poppy also wondered if they would want to see the wii if so would have to try and get it as i think that is personal

I don't think they would ask to see that. When you received the inheritance did that take your total capital to more than £16,000? Did you report the inheritance?
