Sick and tired of companies asking for a review, What do we get out of it, they don't give things away for free so why should we,

My Moto

Pay me and I will do a review if not go and swing for it lol

Yes, it does seem like the McDonalisation of society…you select your items, you are the check-out person, and then you do the (free) marketing for them…some people fill out these feedback surveys, some do not. Suit yourself and you'll suit everyone; press the delete button if you need to do so!

In general, if you are looking for reviews, take a look at the medium to bad ones, then you have your worst case scenarios covered. Try Trust Pilot; when the 5* reviews are almost matched in number by 1* reviews, you have your answer.

I agree, not only that, but it's my principle not to review, unless I am absolutely gobsmacked by what they gave me. In my 37 years of existence, I have seen the whole nine yards, the worst of all being, that they delete all the reviews, relist the product, change the product slightly in packaging. But even worse make the product shittier e.g. shrinkflation, the service far more appalling etc., and then their massive reviews stand there, lying, telling everyone they should go for it, while it's the absolute most evil scam product / service!

it's a sodding review for everything they want, if it is dam good and stands above the rest then I am happy to review, they don't need to harass me I would do it anyway

I buy a lot of things online every month, i know what i am doing

    Hello Razr1969,

Thank you for writing a review on John Smith's Extra Smooth Ale Cans 18 x 440ml. We've posted your review on our site.

    Great value

I bought this and was very happy, good value and had it delivered as well so I did not have to carry such a heavy load

Sainsbury entered me into a £100 draw

Just because they are paying does not mean they are going to get a nice review.

I just don't see why I should sit here spending my time typing reviews for NAF all when they have millions of pounds and I end up advertising their stuff for free, it works only 2 ways as far as I am concerned

Please take into consideration that this is only my opinion and view

a little reward for my time and effort would not go amiss

like ok Sainsbury entered me into a draw, ok I may not, probably won't win but it's nice to think I might

I'm always iffy with places offering something for reviews, that tends to make the reviews less honest. But I do find most people will only leave reviews if they've had negative interactions with a company, so I can see why they'd try and get more positive ones up.
