Advice ?
hello I’m in the process of migrating from esa support group to universal credit I had my identity check then saw my work coach she says I have to send a fit note in I’ve told her I was in support group but she says I have to send one in I rang universal credit helpline and he said look at your to do list and it in it said to spend 35 hours a week looking for work he said click accept and it will all change once I hand in fit note she said I also will need a work capability assessment and the man from universal credit helpline said I must be due an assessment in 2 weeks I have another appointment with a different man at the job centre does anyone know what will happen now thankyou

You do not need to provide a fit note so please ignore that. The reason it's asking that is because UC do not know you were in the Support Group because they haven't received anything to confirm that.
Put a message onto your journal to tell them you were in the Support Group for ESA. ESA will send your details across to UC, usually within the next couple of weeks. Once that is done your claim will be updated and you'll need to agree to your new commitments. Those will be just to report changes and log into your journal regularly to check it.
You will not need another work capability assessment.

You're welcome. The UC helpline are not the most helpful place to go for advice because they have very little knowledge, other than to sit there reading from a screen.
Yes, accepting your commitments is correct but once ESA have sent your details across those commitments will change and you'll be asked to accept the new ones.
Yes, it's frustrating but it's normal.

thankyou so I won’t get sanctioned if I don’t send my fit note in before Monday ? I have appointment in 2 weeks again thankyou so much for replying it as helped xx

No, you will not be sanctioned. The reason the system asks you for a fit note is because you reported your health condition. It doesn't know that you were in the Support Group for ESA yet.
Hopefully by the time that appointment is due your UC will have been updated with the information from ESA and the appointment will be cancelled.
Did you put the message on your journal to tell them you're in the Support Group.

poppy is absolutely correct - you don't need a fit note due to you being in the Support Group for ESA. Unfortunately UC often give incorrect advice, as poppy has said. They can't sanction you for not providing a fit note that is totally uneccessary.
