I’ve been scammed…

Hi everyone,
Here again looking for advice.
I bought a Canon camera on Facebook marketplace. After waiting a week for it to arrive, it turned out to be a scam… 😔
I’ve reported it to my bank (Barclays). They logged an investigation and said it will take atleast 14 days for an outcome.
Does anyone know the likelihood of me getting the money back (Paid £120).
I really can’t afford to be losing money and still wanting to buy an actual camera. As it was a treat for myself to begin a hobby and mainly to take pictures of my toddler. ☹️
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I do have the screenshots and have reported it on Facebook. As it says on the profile they are from Kingston upon Hull (I live hours away). I joined their local group and tried to name and shame. Also under a different name on their bank, so I thought maybe someone will know them personally. But the group didn’t accept my post it’s been pending for 2 weeks. 😕

Thank you! Just been worrying incase they won’t refund as it being my choice to transfer. ☹️ This sounds more promising 🤞I will try to take a look at that 😊

What a horrible experience @tinkerbell2000 - I'm also with Barclays & received an email from them that there's a little change for claims after 7 Oct. Also had one from my Building Society which says they're waiving the recommended £100 excess under the new regulations (tho they may apply it in the future).
You're doing all the right things in working with your bank.
This is what Barclays say about claims from 7 Oct:
Barclays also say, 'There’s not much change to how we already handle scam claims because we’ve been a signatory to the voluntary Contingent Reimbursement Model (CRM) code since May 2019'
So, they've always tried to help with refunds after such scams.
