Black, Brown and Dual-Heritage autistic women living in England are invited to take part in autistic-led research by the University of Brighton.

About: The research is about understanding global majority (Black, Brown and Dual-Heritage) autistic women’s experiences of healthcare, in England through poetry.

Who: Global majority autistic women living in England are invited to take part in the research study. This includes Black, Brown and dual-heritage women aged 18+, who identify as autistic. Participants should be able to reflect on their healthcare experiences and communicate these virtually, through speech or typing.

What you will be asked: You will be asked to reflect on your healthcare experiences and communicate these virtually, though speech, or typing. You may find it helpful to use a timeline, lists, drawings or photos to help make sense of your experiences. You are welcome to choose what feels comfortable for you. You and the researcher will create a poem, based on your healthcare experiences. Please note you do not need any prior experience in art or poetry to take part in this project.
