What specific benefits can I expect to gain from becoming a member of this community?
I've joined this forum on a friend's recommendation. I'm eager to learn more about what this community offers and how I can contribute.

Hey @Nadienne, welcome to the Scope community 😊 there's a number of different reasons why people join here. I think @vikki66 covers quite a lot of it very succinctly! You can be here for all the reasons provided, or just one if that works for you.
We have categories that cover advice on a range of topics. Different types of benefits; such as Universal Credit and PIP being the two most commonly asked about.
There are also categories on different aspects of life where disabled people, carers, or just people curious about the topic can ask questions.
We also have areas for members to discuss about their impairments, mental health, neurodiversity and more.
If you are looking to just chat with people about anything not mentioned above then the Coffee Lounge can be a good place to get to know other members and discuss different topics.
If you need any help with using the site we have some guides under the Using the community section, you can also message @Community_Scope if you are having an issue and cannot find the solution in the guides.
The way you can contribute is just being here, chatting with other members, sharing your experiences or knowledge.
Do let us know if you have any other questions, we are happy to answer them.
