Pay rise and backpay
End of this month I'm due a pay rise and backpay. I can have it put through as installments. Still debating whether to do the installments or get the lump sum. I know I won't benefit they way I did before we had universal credit. If I do installments my company pay roll want to know what my limit it before my UC is affected. I have no idea what it is.
Our situation is I work earning about £1,250 per month. We get money for 1 of our children. Couple money and hubby gets LWCRA as he can't work due to health reasons. Currently waiting on tribunal date for ADP.
What is my earning limit before UC is affected ?

You are already earning above your work allowance, so any money you receive in addition to your usual wage of £1250 a month will result in further deductions to your UC. For every extra £1 you earn or are paid from backpay, your UC will be reduced by 55p.

What is my working allowance as I don't understand where we stand as a couple as I'm the only one working.

If you claim help with the rent then your work allowance will be £404/month, if it doesn't it will be £673/month.
