LWCRA
hi I put my sick note in on the 18th of July. Self diagnosed from the 11th of July. I was awarded LWCRA straight away on the 2nd August once all medical evidence was given as I am starting cancer treatment. When should my payments come in to play. I was told 13 weeks after the 11th July which would have ended on the 10th of October so I assumed my first payment would come into play in this assessment period that ended 14th of October.

If the last day of your AP is 14th then that means payment date is usually 21st of every month.
It's not 13 weeks for Universal Credit, it's 3 full assessment periods and the extra money is then paid from the 4th month, with first payment being the end of that month.
,When you say "self diagnosed on 11th July" was that the date you reported your health condition? If it was then your waiting period will be July/Aug, Aug/Sept, Sept/Oct… LCWRA starts from AP 15th Oct to 14th November and first payment will be 21st November.
If you reported your health condition on the same date you provided your first fit note then your first payment will be 21st December. No LCWRA is owed.
I wish you well during your treatment!

You're welcome, then it's next month for your first payment.

Hi @naomi1706, welcome to the community. I can see Poppy's answered your question but I just wanted to pop in to say hello and that I hope your treatment goes well. Hope your payments come through okay next month too 😊
