Get your mugs ready, folks—UK Coffee Week is brewing from 14th to 20th October! This week is all about supping on your favorite brew while supporting Project Waterfall, a fantastic initiative bringing clean drinking water to coffee-growing communities. It'll help 46000 people gain access to fresh drinking water and sanitation in Rwanda, pretty great right? Coffee shops, roasters and retailers all over the UK are donating proceeds to this amazing project, so even if you're not actively donating, you're still making a difference by chasing that delicious caffeine buzz.

We know that grabbing a cuppa can sometimes feel like an obstacle course for disabled people. Whether it’s navigating tight spaces, dealing with steep steps, or trying to read menus that seem to have shrunk! If you’re popping into your local café, why not check out how accessible it is? Maybe it’s time for that spot to add a ramp or get some braille menus! It's worth mentioning!

So, coffee lovers, let’s support cafés that make everyone feel welcome and enjoy a brew that does some good. And while you’re at it, spill the beans on your favorite inclusive spots with us! Maybe your local brew house are running competitions this week?

(I apologise for the terrible coffee related puns, I have not had enough coffee today)

What a wonderful initiative! I'll have to have a look at what cafes near me are taking part.

I've become a bit of a regular at my local cafe/garden centre. They do delicious bacon butties and the views are stunning over the Holme Valley. I don't drink coffee myself but I do love the smell of a vanilla latte! I'm pleased to say that the cafe is very accessible, however, their menus could do with some adjusting as the writing is quite small. I could mention this next time I'm there, which will be very soon 😂

I like a trip to Costa for their bacon butties. What coffee do you get @Sandy_123? I can't drink coffee at the minute because of bump, but all this coffee is making me crave a vanilla latte!
