Hi, my name is Melmans! Can I work on ESA?
I would like to join the group to learn more about what I can do with my life even when I'm disabled and on ESA. Can I work part time and still receive the same amount of my ESA? And are there any job opportunities shown in this group?
Tanks, Melmans

Hi @Melmans, welcome to the community.
On ESA you can usually do some work as long as it's under 16 hours per week. You'd have to let them know that you were working so it's all above board. There's some information about that on the government website here:
Permitted work factsheet - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
While we don't have any particular job opportunities, Scope have a page for disability friendly employers that you might like to look at:
Finding disability-friendly employers | Disability charity Scope UK
What kind of work do you think you'd be interested to do?

Hi,
Thanks for that info, I will look into that link for employers. My interest would be in the hospitality industry in which I used to work. I did positions in sales and PR. If I could get such or similar part-time positions, I would be happy and try my best without affecting my ESA and my lifestyle.
