    Hi @shirlz123

Do you mean you've received paperwork for a review in March this year and waiting on an outcome. Or you had an assessment in March?

If your award runs out in Nov, you will continue to receive payments, until a decision is made.

Not sure mate I got 8 years left 😂👍 best is to wait if you got proof that you actually sent then keep it safe yea wait for November they may be sending letter then best to wait don't worry I think problem is Sunak did Vouchers and Labour are scrapping it it just speculation but if your on mental health they gonna ask you to go back to work that what labour doing now but it speculation so wait for it

    Hi

Last year I received my review in June was running out in Jan 24 I got text saying the received paperwork but due to black log I was awarded temp for another year, then in December I got another text to say they had made a decision I would get informed by post. I did call even though they said not to and the man was very nice told me I had been awarded for another 3 years

Sorry I don’t know much just what I’ve experienced hope this might help you.

Same with me ever since I was awarded it every time it’s for 3 years. Used to be on DLA then was told that was ending they awarded me contribution based ESA but at time they had on letter EESA then told apply for Pip in 2014 approx had to give up work and started on these I don’t claim any other benefits I struggle on these two I’m on 20 meds per day and I pay my own prescriptions. These people and the Gov put the fear of god in the average person the reviews the wait the anxiety it causes them Gov say it’s getting stopped or we will receive vouchers how can vouchers pay your rent. I now have multiple conditions both physically & mentally the constant worry these peopl put on you doesn’t help. I also resent the fact that because we are on these benefits we are scrounged I’m 60 year old I have worked all my life paid tax NI when my children were young I worked 3 different jobs until I physically couldn’t work anymore because of my health and my consultants and GP said enough.

I know many milk the system but the majority of us don’t but we get treated the same. It makes me so ill as I worry about it getting stopped as these are my only form of income now and when the reviews are due the anxiety kills me. I don’t think they have a clue what they do to us. When you have to phone takes hours to get through.

If a decision hasn't been made around 35 days before your award is due to end a letter will be sent out to you to tell you that award award has been extended for up to 1 year.

There's extremely long delays. My recent review took almost 1 year from when I received the text to tell me the review had started. I had my paper based decision a couple of days ago and was awarded for 6 years this time.

I hope you know you can pay £114.50 for 12 months which covers all your prescriptions and equates to a little over £2 per week, not sure if you can pay this in installments or not. There's also the 'NHS Low Income Scheme' through which you may get them for free.

Many don't milk the system though the statistics prove that the gov and media push a false idea many do to make people supportive of harsh frankly disgusting tactics
