Maybe you should stop reading things and wait for the official announcement. It can't be good for you to continue to read these things day in, day out.

Hi just asking, still haven't heard anything about my esa 50 form reassessment from Jan, my friend who helped me with my pip appeal, is going to phone the dwp to see what's happening, anything that she should ask about as well

ESA may not be able to tell you anything and you maybe better off contacting the assessment providers Those have now changed and who does them will depend on the area you live. You can check that here.
Just ask if there's any updates on your current review.

As my assessment is Capita and I had problems with them in the past with pip having to appeal. The lady helping me rang the dwp. And it said to press 1 if you filled a Esa 50 form in ,which I did. It stated that if your waiting to hear about the Esa ,and need a assessment, you will be contacted and in the meantime you still get payments.
Does this mean there is a backlog ? And they get round to do it. When my pip review came round a couple of years ago , I got it without a interview. Which was a relief from the first time horror

I must admit that wasn't the most helpful information you've had, I could have advised you the same thing. 😑Yes, there are backlogs for WCA reviews and I know of quite a few people that are still waiting for a decision.
