I've got that Friday Feeling!

It's almost the weekend, yay! I've got my baby shower tomorrow which I'm really looking forward to, but on Sunday I'll probably need to rest after all the excitement π
What are you up to?

FRIDAAAAAAY!!
I'm currently looking at the huge amount of fog outside, it really feels like I'm in the movie "The Mist" π0 -
Nothing exciting I am tidying up the garden. Bright and sunny here today but cold.

It sounds like you have a great weekend ahead! Baby showers are such joyful occasions, whether youβre celebrating someone elseβs little one or getting ready for your own. When my late mum was nearly ninety, she received an invitation to her granddaughterβs baby shower and was completely confused. She had never heard of showering new babies, let alone ones that hadnβt been born yet! It took some explaining, but once she understood, she had an enjoyable time. I still smile and think of my late mum whenever I hear the term 'baby shower' mentioned.

It's a great day for getting out in the garden @Bluebell21 π
Thanks @Nicebrit β€οΈ Are you just relaxing this weekend?
Memory unlocked @Nightcity! Are you up to much?
Haha I understand it is a bit weird having a baby shower @MW123. I wonder when they became popular here? It'll be so nice to see all of my friends and family together although I am quite nervous as I'm not good in large groups of people even if they are people I love! Are you up to anything this weekend?
Seems @Albus_Scope got the short straw with the weather today. It's gorgeous here, what's it like where you are?
Hope you're all having a wonderful day so far π

I am not exactly sure when baby showers became popular. The first one I attended was for my niece's child, who is now nine, and my mum and I both went. This weekend I plan to do absolutely nothing! The only downside is how quickly it flies by, before you know it, itβs Monday morning and here we go again! Have a lovely weekend Rachel.

Well the mist has lifted and it's now glorious sunshine and it's nearly time for me to meet up with a friend who I've not seen in nearly ten years. Exciting!
Possibly not as exciting as a baby shower π0 -
Luckily we've stayed chatting online @Biblioklept so we roughly know what each other look like now. Hopefully they've not started wearing big wigs or something. π

I'm working tomorrow then I'm having a day off and a PJ on Sunday because my support worker is off to an 80th birthday party.
Today I treat myself to a treatment in a spa but why can't spas swimming pools be accessible. I wood love a spa day but I can't due to not being able to access the pool at the one lately I also don't like lazing about I get bored quick easily.

Aww thank you π She's due Christmas Eve @Biblioklept! Timed it terribly π Just hoping I get a Christmas dinner at some point!
Ooh what treatment was it @durhamjaide2001? I wish pools were more accessible too. PJ day on Sunday sounds amazing, I'll be doing the same.
