What next

Hi all. I get full PIP care and full PIP Mobility. I also get ESA support group benefit as well. Anyway I get all this PIP and ESA because of my condition and the fact I'm mostly homebound, cant walk across my room without a frame, cant stand up by myself, 2 walking sticks….you get the picture. So anyway, I won my ESA at a tribunal in 2017, before my condition got to where it is now. So now I'm INFINITELY worse. I've recently had to move from ESA to UC, because of my migration letter etc. So, even being on maximum PIP AND having a partner who has to dress me, cut my food for me and take me to the bathroom etc, UC have given me a back to work mandatory first meeting at the Job centre……what can I do??? I have this previous court/tribunal win letter, my PIP has no end date, but UC want me to go to see a work coach, a first commitment meeting. I can't walk, can't use my fingers, take Morphine Sulphate through the day as well as a patch for pain, and I have immunosuppressive injections because of my illness. So no immune system either. I asked about protected ESA paymentpayment's etc but they say nope, new claim. Please, any advice, anywhere….thank you.

This is standard procedure when claiming UC for the first time, even when in the Support Group for ESA. At the moment they do not know you're in this group because they wouldn't have received any information from ESA.
Firstly, please put a message onto your journal and tell them that you're in the Support Group. You do not need to provide a fit note.
Then put another message onto your journal and ask for reasonable adjustment for a telephone appointment and they should agree to that.
Once ESA have sent your details across your claim will be updated and no further appointments will be needed. You will be entitled to the LCWRA element from the start of your claim. It may take a few weeks for them to send your details across.

Thank you so much for your reply.
I guess this means they are all generic appointments at first and then all the different ones get weeded out and separated?
Do you know, can they insist on me doing the visit if they have not yet received any ESA paperwork, or are they a bit more professional than that? And sorry about my questions, but will my original ESA Tribunal not fit for work status carry any weight over to UC if needed?
I appreciate any and all help with this….Thank you all.

Put a message onto your journal to tell them you're in the Support Group. You'll be entitled to the LCWRA element from the start of your claim so yes your Tribunal decision for ESA c carries over to UC. The reason for this is because they do not know you're In the Support Group yet.
This happens all the time so it's not something new. They should agree to a telephone appointment.

Again thank you, you are an absolute star. I shall get writing straight away. Strange thing is, my partner, who cares 24/7 for me since I got worse, bless her, well they told her not to come to any meetings as she has to look after me and she won't have time for work, yet me, the person in question, well I must've got looked over lol.
Anyway as I said, you are fantastic. Fingers crossed I won't need anymore advice on this. Thank you.
