I receive a bi annual grant from a charity would this be disregard as income for universal credit. Benefit calculators are saying this is ignored, but I am not sure.

Grants are usually ignored and disregarded as income for Universal Credit (UC). However, they can count as capital, so if any grants you receive take you over the savings or capital limits you should report this to UC.
