Sore foot

Hi everyone, I hope you are all as well as can be. I have a question that I'm hoping someone may be able to give some advice on.
Since my mobility has declined the pad of my right foot is getting sore and painful to walk on. I wondered whether anyone could advise on how to make it better.
I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi @HappyDays62 Welcome to the Community. Unfortunately we are not able to give Medical Advice on the forum. Could you perhaps see you GP to see what help he can give.
Take care.

Hi @HappyDays62, as bluebell21 mentioned, we can't give specific medical advice, so it does sound like it might be something worth mentioning to your GP if you're worried.
You could perhaps look into supportive or softening insoles, but it would be good to speak to a medical professional to make sure that the things that you try won't make things worse or impact any of your other conditions. It might be that it's something that needs treating with specific care so it's best to be safe.
Hope you can find some relief from the pain, it doesn't sound nice!

Thanks for the advice. I've ordered some cream from Amazon, which has great reviews. Hopefully, that will work, If not, I'll see the GP. I think it's just hard skin/callus that has resulted from changing my gait, so more weight is being applied to one foot now. I'm having walking rehabilitation and hope that will also help in due course. Take care x

Best of luck with the cream @HappyDays62, and I hope the rehab is helpful too. Fingers crossed you can get things feeling more comfortable soon 😊

You need to ask the doctor for an X-ray or CT scan. In any case, the load on the sore spot must be reduced by all available means.
