You will be joint claimants, you will both need to submit claims to UC, but once you fill in the initial details you will be supplied a linking code which you enter to join the claims and only one of you will need to fill in all of the details about housing and circumstances.
You will both continue to have separate log in details, and there may be occasional times they will want an action completed by one account or the other, but mostly it can be managed by one person.
He will need his own email account in order to claim though. Are you able to set one up for him?

Hi @Richardson44, I hope we can reassure you can help with some support. I'm glad to hear your daughter is helping you! You can request that Universal Credit is handled mainly over the phone or in person if you do not have access to something that can help you manage it online.
We also have an advice page on the migration process here: Moving to Universal Credit and transitional protection | Disability charity Scope UK
I hope it can help you out with what to expect as you migrate to Universal Credit. Of course don't start anything until you get the letter.
