Life of Pippa - a Disabled Media Influencer
As we gear up for the Scope Awards, I wanted to highlight a person who I feel helps educate their audience on how their life is affected by their disability.
Pippa developed ME/CFS when she was a teenager and now she writes, blogs, and speaks about her disability. She talks about her ambitions and how she can chase them in a way that is best for her and the struggles she faces.
Here are some of the things she writes about:
- Wheelchair accessible activities both in the UK and abroad
- Books by disabled and chronically ill authors
- General lifestyle tips
She is also involved in various fundraising campaigns!
Maybe Pippa’s travel diary could inspire to take that trip you’ve been wanting to go on or introduce you to a new author?
You can visit her website here or chat to her on the community @LifeOfPippa 😊
Do you follow any other disabled social media influencers that you feel should be nominated for a Scope Award? Let us know!

Pippa used to work on the community many years ago, great choice!
I'll be interested to hear what influencers, if any, other people follow or have heard of?
