Where do seagulls go to die?

We have literally thousands of gulls around our area - noisy, dirty, flying rats!

They breed like rabbits in my area because people feed them

We live 26 miles from the sea

I suddenly realised that I have never seen a dead gull

Where do they go to die?

I've seen quite a few sadly, half decomposed birds are….[redacted]

Many will prob die out of sight on rooftops, in bushes etc

Worse is a dead dolphin, laying in the sun on the beach, half eaten, bloated and extremely smelly…..heaven to a dog

Reserve ranger was grateful for the heads up (part of job recording them) but she did visibly wince at the mental visuals my description clearly gave

We have A fishing pool near me and as well as a colony of about 30 geese there are many ducks and gulls

I think it’s the massive ones you get by the sea though had a trip to Lundudno earlier in the year and those birds are huge

This is in the West Midlands

I live in a seaside town and obviously we do have a lot of gulls.

I have never seen a dead one.

I do not have a problem with the gulls but people who feed them are a nuisance even though we have signs saying please do not feed the gulls.

As a result the gulls are naturally becoming more brazen and aggressive.

I do not eat outside because the will try to steal your food and attack you.
