Hi, my name is karenlovell62!
Hi my name is Karen and I have 4 autistic sons. They are all adults now from 27-40. I am currently helping my youngest who has struggled for a long time. He wasn’t given a diagnosis as a child, but instead we were told it was learned behaviour from living with other autistic siblings. The result has been disastrous for him. We are now in the process of getting a diagnosis so that he can receive help.

Hi @karenlovell62, welcome to the community. Sorry to hear your son has been struggling, it sounds like you've all had a difficult time. But I hope the diagnosis process brings you both some comfort and he can get the support he needs soon.
Please feel free to join in with the community wherever you like. We do have a section for Autism and Neurodiversity in case you've got any questions about anything.
I hope you'll enjoy your time here 😊
